Fragrant Rice

This serves 4 people.


  • 2 cups of brown rice
  • 2 1/2 cups of water or vegetable stock
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon of cardamon seeds removed from the pods


Put all the ingredients in a pressure cooker or instant pot and cook for 10 minutes. Allow the pressure to release naturally (about 10 minutes).
