1 cup of walnuts
2 tablespoons of olive oil
3 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of miso
Cover the walnuts in boiling water and leave them for a couple of hours to soften. Drain off the water. Put all of the ingredients into a blender and process until they are smooth.
Put the mixture on a piece of parchment paper and using the paper, shape into a log. Sprinkle smoked paprika on the outside of the log. Wrap in the paper and
put the pate into the fridge for a few hours or overnight to firm up.
Slice and serve with crackers for a delicious appetizer or snack.
